Hi there. I am trying to create an I18n'ized system of cgi scripts. So far, we have no problem outputting chinese text to the browser - we just load it from a file and toss it onto the screen. Our problem is accepting chinese input to web forms, when the user of the page is using a Chinese operating system that stores its characters as 2 bytes each. 大家好，加入这个maillist也近一个礼拜了，但没有收到什么邮件，怀疑是不是出了什么问题，所以写了这封mail测试测试。以前总觉得Linux下的中文问题困难大于希望，可能也受到一些评论的影响，所以没有认真的去注意它；前日从朋友去得到一TurboLinux_6. 0 中文版，试用了一下才看到中文化的进步很迅速，当然也是GNU Libc 2.1和XFree86 计划的努力研发的成果。然后在Internet上找了些i18n的资料阅读(特别是www.linux.org. tw，资料很多 and well organized。)，自己也作了些实验和研究，觉得有些体验，很愿意和各位同仁共同交流，为中文化事业作点贡献。我们国内的中文化的Official site是什么，如果是i18n.linux.net.cn的话，遗憾的说有些令人失望，网页好久没有更新，无法得知最近动态，也不知到那里去参与讨论，发表意见。我觉得简体版的.po files还是很有必要的，大家不觉得吗？共勉杜晓明 2000 年 11 月 26 日 -------------------------- … [View More]
