Hi there. I am trying to create an I18n'ized system of cgi scripts.
So far, we have no problem outputting chinese text to the browser - we
just load it from a file and toss it onto the screen.
Our problem is accepting chinese input to web forms, when the user of
the page is using a Chinese operating system that stores its
characters as 2 bytes each. Our cgi scripts are written in perl on a
one-byte-per-character, English version of Linux. Perl is not going
to know how to deal with 2-byte character input from the cgi form.
Essentially then, the question is: in Perl, how do I deal with
chinese input on an English system?
Thanks!
Aaron

Danny

Hi, all

tw,资料很多 and well organized。)

Hello,
It is my long wish, and Hashao urge me to take action soon, so
I post the draft "Call for Help" here, please see attachment.
Or you can refer to http://i18n.linux.net.cn/
Please give me feedback on the CFH, and I will modify it to
meet version 0.9 requirement and post it on some large
