I'm very sorry that I and other contributors (maybe) are very busy so we don't pay much attention to KDE developement recently. Nevertheless, as far as I know, the big5 translation doesn't break anything in KDE 2.2, i.e., it still works well in KDE 2.2. To my opinion, it should not be dropped. However, if it's the KDE's policy forcing every translation team to use UTF-8, we'll follow. I'll see what I can do this weekend.
The only thing that still bother me is, the name zh_TW.Big5 is not appropriate when we change to UTF-8 (since it's not correct then). As I suggested before, we should use zh_TW.
Could you help to change the directory name?
