Hello, members of the Chinese team at `zh-l10n(a)linux.org.tw'. This is a
message from the Translation Project robot. I`m happy to announce that
a new file, available as:
>
http://www.iro.umontreal.ca/contrib/po/teams/PO/zh/gettext-0.10.38.zh.po
has been integrated in the central PO archives, and is now kept with
all other accepted Chinese translations. The file should soon be made
available in mirror sites as:
> ftp://ftp.unex.es/pub/gnu-i18n/po/teams/PO/zh/gettext-0.10.38.zh.po
> ftp://ftp.chg.ru/pub/doc/gnu-i18n/teams/PO/zh/gettext-0.10.38.zh.po
All its 118 messages have been translated, and this PO file has been
submitted to the maintainer of `gettext', hoping s/he will include
it in a future release of programs using this textual domain.
Let me thank you for all users of the Chinese language.
The following HTML pages should also be updated by tomorrow.

In fact, I have no idea about these 3 terms :-)
variable 變數
argument 引數
parameter 參數

Hello translators!
I'd like to infor you the old wget translation file (zh.po) used the
old PO file format; to merge it with the new wget.pot I've had to
process it manually:
OLD_PO_FILE_INPUT=yes msgmerge zh.po wget-1.7-pre1.pot -o zh.new.po
After perfoming this command I copied back zh.new.po as zh.po.
No special action is needed by your side; but if you've the time,
please check it whether it's still okay.
Regards,
Karl

In this file, 143 messages have been translated already, accounting for
42% of the original text size (in raw bytes). Still, 38 messages need
to be attended to. Most probably, there is a translator already assigned
to the domain `wget' in your team. Else, the team leader (if any) should
inform the translation coordinator of who will become responsible for it.
Please translate the remaining messages for the benefit of users of the
Chinese language. Once the translation completed, send the result to
the address given below, using:
> Subject: TP-Robot wget-1.7-pre1.zh.po
in your message header. You may contact either your team leader or me,
if any question arises. In the meantime, this PO file has been submitted
to the maintainer of programs using the textual domain `wget'.
Thanks!

Dear translators,
a small problem occured while I tried to install the new gettext POT
file on the translation site.
I've had to remove gettext's zh.po temporarily to do the merging process
manually this way:
bor:~$ OLD_PO_FILE_INPUT=yes /u/loewisma/bin/msgmerge zh.po gettext-0.10.38.pot -o new.zh.po
bor:~$ cp new.zh.po /home/ftp/pub/po/maint/gettext/zh.po
This was the error message:
zh.po:128: invalid control sequence
zh.po:189: invalid control sequence
found 2 fatal errors
If possible, please check the file.

Hi all,
I did the translation of gpa to zh_TW.Big5, and here is the package.
The package contains three files, 1 for oldest gettext version
(0.10.35-), and 1 for newest gettext version (\\ => \), the last one is
UTF8 encoding..
Please check if the po file has some problems or not.. thank you !

Anyone who is doing that job?
My locale is zh_TW, so I will try zh_TW.Big5 and zh_TW.UTF8
