All:
Can one of you guys tell me what the preferred locales for Chinese
Simplified and Traditional are on Linux?
Simplified Chinese:
zh_CN.GB2312
zh_CN.GBK
zh_CN.GB18030
Traditional Chinese (Taiwan)
zh_TW.Big5
Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong)
zh_HK.Big5-HKSCS
Also, have any of you seen msgfmt error indicating bad escape
sequences when compiling these resources?
You mean gettext *.po / *.mo files? And you mean you get the error
when making zh_TW.Big5 *.mo files with the latest versions of gettext?
(0.10.36 or later versions)? :-)
(Someone posted a solution of the above, but I want to make sure the above
is indeed the error you encountered before I go and try to dig up that
e-mail message. :-)
Cheers,
Anthony
