Hi Allen and friends,
I am a little busy recently but I am working on reviewing your translations.
I asked the Mandrake documentation team how to make your works available for all users. Here is the answer.
Good news is we are welcomed.
Every answer is in the mandraker documentation howto, accessible from revious link http://www.linux-mandrake.com/doc/mdk-doc-howto/index.html
All is written in DocBook and stored in a CVS. Allen told me that you have experience in writing in chinese with DocBook, that shouldn't be a problem. If you wish to join the whole team, and the technical aspect with chinese is not a problem, you are much welcomed.
Bad news is they are working on 7.2 manuals and a lot has been changed since 7.1. Faster than I expected, here I already got the address:
http://www.linux-mandrake.com/doc/en/mdkuserguide/index.html and http://www.linux-mandrake.com/doc/en/mdkrefguide/index.html
access restricted: User name: people Password: neon
Chapters currently stable are: userguide: 13 to 15 refguide: 1 to 16
Now, what is your opinion? Are you ready to join the work of Mandrake documentation team? How are you familiar with the tools used?
You may want to see how to access the CVS repository here: http://www.linux-mandrake.com/zh-TW/cvs.php3
