For the renaming issue, I think at least two things have to be changed. First, the directory name should be changed to zh_TW. Second, the locale name in all .desktop should also be changed to zh_TW, i.e.,

Your help is very appreciated.
I have to pass on that one.
Thomas - what is the 3-letter code for zh_TW? I think, we should do the two steps in one.
Wish I knew that myself. (Remember yesterday's mail exchange with the maintainer of simplified Chinese? I'm CCing him, too.)
http://lcweb.loc.gov/standards/iso639-2/englangn.html only talks about "Chinese" in general and suggests "zho" as terminological code. Only proposal I came up with so far was to go for "zho_CN" for simplified Chinese and "zho_TW" for traditional Chinese. Don't know if everybody would be happy with such a mixing in of country issues, however.
We indeed should change the .desktop files (or add a crude hack to kconfig for 2.2.1) But then we don't want to change it again after 2.2.1 ;(
As long as nobody comes up with an official 3-letter code we can hardly be sure about that I guess.

Thomas
