Hello, members of the Chinese team at `zh-l10n(a)linux.org.tw'. This is a
message from the Translation Project robot. I`m happy to announce that
a new file, available as:
>
http://www.iro.umontreal.ca/contrib/po/teams/PO/zh/gettext-0.11-pre2.zh.po
has been integrated in the central PO archives, and is now kept with
all other accepted Chinese translations. The file should soon be made
available in mirror sites as:
> ftp://ftp.unex.es/pub/gnu-i18n/po/teams/PO/zh/gettext-0.11-pre2.zh.po
> ftp://ftp.chg.ru/pub/doc/gnu-i18n/teams/PO/zh/gettext-0.11-pre2.zh.po
In this file, 93 messages have been translated already, accounting for 10%
of the original text size (in raw bytes). Still, 193 messages need to
be attended to. Most probably, there is a translator already assigned to
the domain `gettext' in your team. Else, the team leader (if any) should
inform the translation coordinator of who will become responsible for it.
Please translate the remaining messages for the benefit of users of the
Chinese language. Once the translation completed, send the result to
the address given below, using:
> Subject: TP-Robot gettext-0.11-pre2.zh.po
in your message header. You may contact either your team leader or me,
if any question arises. In the meantime, this PO file has been submitted
to the maintainer of programs using the textual domain `gettext'.
Thanks!
The following HTML pages should also be updated by tomorrow.
> http://www.iro.umontreal.ca/contrib/po/HTML/team-zh.html
The Translation Project robot, in the

P.S. - You may find a copy (maybe not official) of the distribution as:

BTW,
I have builded a 漢英字典 for dictd ( from CEDICT ).
but it did not work properly.
if someone was interested in this, take a look at
ftp://cle.linux.org.tw/pub/CLE/devel/informer/dict-zh-1.2-1.src.rpm
I will make a utf-8 version later.

To the dear windows translators:
from http://poedit.sourceforge.net/
Translation memory automates translation of frequent phrases. poEdit can
reuse translation data from all your PO, MO and RPM files. [1.1.1]
Does it true ?
If it is true, is it the time to collect the Translation memory ?

Hi,
I have removed traditional Chinese translation of gnumeric for
now; the reason is that gnumeric is basically useless for CJK
people, and the translation is unmaintained. From the po file,
the last translator is Pofeng Lee, but last updated time was
Feb 1999. Currently no more than 7% of the entries are translated.
But don't worry, I have kept a copy; if anybody (esp. Pofeng Lee)
objects to my action, I can restore it easily.
