Hello Lin Zhe Min and Brian!
Lin Zhe Min, I don't know whether you are still interested in the
Translation Project -- anyway, I'd like to see this case resolved, one
way or the other :-)

As far as I can see, the Disclaimer didn't make it through to the
Translation Project. Brian, will you please check by your side, too?

Thanks for all your translations! I'm wondering whether the files you
sent were included in the meantime? If not, I'll try to feed the robot
with your translations.
Additionally, I like to ask what problems around the Chinese language
team and the Free Translation Project are pending?
Comparing with projects like GNOME or KDE I'm inclined to "split" the zh
locale: we should provide the possibility to upload zh_TW and zh_CN
files. I need input by your side and I'll start to read through the old
mail folder.

Dear All,
I have joined the list for a long time. I read about
Big5/Unicode/UTF/... Chinese Standard discussions and did a few studies on
these issues. I am no Chinese Linux hacker and am still confused. IS
UNICODE THE CONSENSUS NOW?
And another thing, there existed problems about chinese support in
IBM's Softwares porting to Linux for a long time. Always Chinese Font
problem. It seems there is no STANDARD/DEFAULT Chinese fonts on Linux.
People are free to take their favorites. However, sometimes it causes
problems for application developers for they can't map default font to
SYSTEM FONTS(just like 細明體 in Windows). Would anyone advise on this
problem? Maybe we should try to make that font standard and let application
developers, like IBM to follow?
ps. I don't know if this is the right list to pose such question. If it's
not the proper list, please let me know.

Hello, members of the Chinese team at `zh-l10n(a)linux.org.tw'. This is a
message from the Translation Project robot. I`m happy to announce that
a new file, available as:
>
http://www.iro.umontreal.ca/contrib/po/teams/PO/zh/wget-1.7.1-pre1.zh.po
has been integrated in the central PO archives, and is now kept with
all other accepted Chinese translations. The file should soon be made
available in mirror sites as:
> ftp://ftp.unex.es/pub/gnu-i18n/po/teams/PO/zh/wget-1.7.1-pre1.zh.po
> ftp://ftp.chg.ru/pub/doc/gnu-i18n/teams/PO/zh/wget-1.7.1-pre1.zh.po
In this file, 143 messages have been translated already, accounting for
42% of the original text size (in raw bytes). Still, 38 messages need
to be attended to. Most probably, there is a translator already assigned
to the domain `wget' in your team. Else, the team leader (if any) should
inform the translation coordinator of who will become responsible for it.
Please translate the remaining messages for the benefit of users of the
Chinese language. Once the translation completed, send the result to
the address given below, using:
> Subject: TP-Robot wget-1.7.1-pre1.zh.po
in your message header. You may contact either your team leader or me,
if any question arises. In the meantime, this PO file has been submitted
to the maintainer of programs using the textual domain `wget'.
Thanks!
The following HTML pages should also be updated by tomorrow.
