Hi Ben,
Seems that you're the sole translator for all software
maintained by redhat (e.g. usermode, chkconfig...). But
perhaps there's something you don't know: some of the
software actually has been done by other translators before,
but never find their correct way into Redhat.
Since you're a Red Hat employee and your translation
quality is generally good, it's reasonable to expect
your translations should be the official ones. However,
I'd think it would be better to add those previous
translators' names onto the .po files, at least to
acknowledge their effort paid on the files. Would this
be OK for you?
For another matter, the .po file names should be changed
to remove the encoding name, i.e. zh_TW.Big5.po should
be changed to zh_TW.po. The rationale behind this is,
the encoding of file is already specified inside the
file (Content-Type), so that explicitly telling the
encoding in filename is unnecessary.
This change is already done in Gnome, KDE and Mandrake.
Simplified Chinese side has also officially decided to
remove encoding too: zh_CN.[whatever] -> zh_CN . I'm
trying to witness this change done for zh_TW.
However, when I talked to teg(a)redhat.com about this *SEVERAL*
times, he never managed to answer me, and either just
give me dummy answers or ignore me altogether. Besides,
I can't rename the files at all *EVEN THOUGH* I have CVS
write access. So perhaps you can be the one who can help...
Looking forward to your answer!

Sorry for late reply. It's nice to see your help. For now,
you may want to join traditional Chinese localization mailing
list (zh-l10n @ linux.org.tw). You can join it at
http://www.linux.org.tw/mailman/listinfo/zh-l10n/ . Many
important discussions about zh_TW l10n effort is carried
out there; some can be of interest to you.

Yes; you can attach it through email to me, I'll have a proofhead and
perform some error checking before committing it to Gnome CVS.

Thanks, I'll review it later today.
