[zh-l10n] New PO file for `gettext-0.10.40'

Hello, members of the Chinese team at `zh-l10n(a)linux.org.tw'. This is a message from the Translation Project robot. I`m happy to announce that a new file, available as: > http://www.iro.umontreal.ca/contrib/po/teams/PO/zh/gettext-0.10.40.zh.po has been integrated in the central PO archives, and is now kept with all other accepted Chinese translations. The file should soon be made available in mirror sites as: > ftp://ftp.unex.es/pub/gnu-i18n/po/teams/PO/zh/gettext-0.10.40.zh.po > ftp://ftp.chg.ru/pub/doc/gnu-i18n/teams/PO/zh/gettext-0.10.40.zh.po All its 118 messages have been translated, and this PO file has been submitted to the maintainer of `gettext', hoping s/he will include it in a future release of programs using this textual domain. Hi, 是否無法在 X Window 下使用只有 big5 編碼的 TrueType 字型？例如早前 Linuxer 雜誌送出的王漢宗教授字集十套的 TrueType 字。兩個方案... 第一個方案：修改 /usr/X11R/lib/X11/fonts/encodings/large/ 下的 big5.eten-0.enc.gz 檔案。將以下加到此檔的結尾但要在 ENDENCODING一字之上，如下：- . . . STARTMAPPING cmap 3 3 # just the identity mapping ENDMAPPING #只需增加以下二行 STARTMAPPING cmap 3 4 ENDMAPPING #完成 ENDENCODING 備註：- cmap 3 3 是給 GB 字型的，cmap 3 4 才是給 big5 字型。這個錯誤是由於 TrueType/OpenType Spec. 曾經作過修改，將這二個編碼的代號 3, 4 互換了位置。這個修正我已經通知了 big5.eten-0.enc.gz 檔的維護者，並已得到確定。第二個方案到 http://sourceforge.net/projects/oto/ 下載 oto ---Open Type Organizer 程式。這個小小程式硬是要得！它可以將原本只有 big5 或 gb 編碼的 TrueType 字再加入一個 unicode 編碼，但絕對不會攪亂原本的字型。[big5 部份是由我修正的，請大家幫忙測試 :)] 這個方案還有一個好處... 因 OpenOffice 只認 Unicode 編碼的 TrueType 字，引至很多 Big5 編碼的字不能用。現在只要將轉變後的字抄到 OpenOffice 下的 share/fonts/truetype/ 就可以用了。好！我已經測試了幾個王漢宗教授的字型，(確係靚)！---廣東話 :-) 最後... 我不知將這個郵件放在這裡對不對，若不正確的話請通知應該放到哪裡才好。 Joe Man _________________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? 行萬里路 http://travel.yahoo.com.hk Comprehensive travel guide at http://travel.yahoo.com.hk
